We are working to stop the planned shallow well sewage injection at Cudjoe Key. We need some help, please. We have attached a fact sheet which explains why shallow sewage injection in the Keys is such a bad idea. But it seems sort of obvious to those of us who live here, doesn't it?
The Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority (FKAA) has been issued a permit by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) to inject partially treated sewage effluent into shallow wells on Cudjoe Key in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary.
Rules And Law
A DEEP WELL IS REQUIRED BECAUSE OF THE DESIGN CAPACITY OF THE PLANT
